Adventure Lodges of
North America
Clay Hill Lodge has been featured on PBS Television
In the Fall of 2005 Clay Hill Lodge was
contacted by a PBS affiliate and informed we would be entered into the
selection process for an upcoming PBS special titled "Adventure Lodges of North
America." We made the cut and the film crew arrived in mid-February for a
three-day shoot. We served a special six-course meal for Valentine's Day, hiked
the Rogue River Trail both upstream and down, examined Native American
artifacts and the Clay Hill homestead, and even caught some winter
steelhead.
The special airs in two parts. The American
lodges special airs nationwide in Canada and the United States on PBS September
6, 2006, at 8:00 p.m. If you are in Northern Oregon the show airs on October
19, 2006, at 9:00 p.m. The show will rerun throughout the season. Look for us
at PBS.org.
